Only 23 years old is Armand Duplantis at levels that few other athletes can only dream of. He has already won everything there is to win, piling up gold medals and world records in his so far short sporting career.

Mondo’s successful year

Last year, “Mondo” reached unimagined heights when he won all the championships with WC gold both outdoors and indoors, EC gold outdoors and overall victory in the Diamond League. The prize money has been pouring in for the Swedish world star and he doesn’t seem to get enough of all the victories and awards that are being showered on him.

In 2022, the world’s best pole vaulter raised his world record to an incredible 6.21 meters, but it probably won’t stop there any longer. Because Duplantis has so much more height in his body and in 2023 we will very likely see new world records.

Even though the season has been over for some time now and the 23-year-old has been very current with his movie “Born to fly” recently, he is not on the lazy side. On Instagram, he has shared new pictures of himself from inside the training hall and it is a video that really impresses, see it below.

Duplantis is showing off his form for the upcoming season and his training jumps make the followers drop their jaws at how easily he slides over the crossbar. Unfortunately, the Swede does not say what height applies, but most people speculate that it could be as high as 6.30 meters.
