Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist are also best friends.
Now a new picture of the duo is being celebrated, which makes all Swedes long for the ski season.
No one has probably missed that Frida Karlsson and Maja Dahlqvist are very good friends and spend a lot of time together. The Swedish star duo even have their own team together – MDFK – which is formed by their four initials.

28-year-old Dahlqvist is the more experienced of the duo and can proudly show off 3 Olympic medals and double World Cup gold from her skiing career, where sprints are her flagship event. While 23-year-old Karlsson is still on the rise and has so far won 1 Olympic medal and 6 WC medals, including a WC gold in relay.

During the summer, the radar partners made big headlines after their controversial defection from the national team. Together with Lynn Svahn they broke away from the national ski team’s pre-season and created a completely own system to prepare for the new season.

Since then, we have seen the trio train together and also go to a pre-season camp in Mallorca. But in the last week, all three have been on site in Idre with the rest of the national ski team to polish the last details before the ski season.

Frida and Maja have also been photographed there, and the picture is now highly praised on Instagram, see it below. As both of them show up for the first time in the brand new national team kit for the coming season.
