The new panic is spreading in the world WHO announced

A statement came from the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the monkeypox disease, which continues to spread around the world. WHO announced in a statement that the disease has been detected in 780 people so far.

SEEN IN 780 PEOPLE IN 27 COUNTRIES

In the monkeypox update report published on the organization’s website, data on the spread of the virus from 13 May to 2 June, when the first case was seen in England, were shared.

Between these dates, it was reported that 780 cases reported to WHO from 27 countries where monkeypox virus is not endemic were confirmed. No loss of life has been reported from these countries so far.

It was reported that 270 cases were detected in England, 156 cases in Spain, 138 cases in Portugal, 58 cases in Canada, 57 cases in Germany, 33 cases in France and 31 cases in the Netherlands.

In other countries where the virus is seen, it has been announced that there are 20 or less cases.

WHO ANNOUNCED: GAY RELATIONSHIP…

In the report, it was stated that the majority of the cases were men who had homosexual intercourse, and it was stated that only the West African type of monkeypox virus was seen in the examined cases so far.

It was reported that a large number of cases have recently traveled to Europe and North America, with fewer people traveling to West or Central African countries where the virus is endemic.

It was focused on the possibility that the virus’s rapid spread in non-endemic countries could be the result of a previously undetected spread.

WHO has determined the global risk size of the virus as “moderate”, as monkeypox has been seen for the first time in many countries.

The monkeypox virus, discovered in Africa and periodically coming out of the continent, was last seen in England on May 13 and spread to European countries in the following days.
