The new owners of Kymi Ring have a strong motor

The Kymi Ring motor sports center has been transferred to Hungarian-Finnish ownership.

The Kymi Ring motor track has been transferred to the ownership of Finland Motorsport Circuit Holding oy.

The company’s CEO is a 28-year-old Hungarian Kornél Öry. The other Hungarian members of the company’s board are the CEO’s father, Tamás Öry57, and Sandor Rabb57. Mika Wilska, 59, is the company’s only Finnish member. No beneficiaries have been registered for the company. The company was registered in the trade register on September 21.

Managing director Kornél Öry declares that he is involved in the Rally Commission of the International Automobile Federation, or FIA, and the Karting Commission of the Hungarian Motor Sports Federation.

The company’s Ukari residents, Öry, are passionate rally men. Tamás Öry has founded TRP Hungary, a company focused on motor sports in Hungary. Öry has a rally background as a map reader from his youth.

TRP Events, operating under the company managed by Öry, organizes motorsport events in Hungary. It has been organizing in Hungary, among other things, the rally EC series competition, the truck EC series competition and the rallycross EC series race.

Tamas Öry has been creating a driver academy for young Hungarian drivers. The purpose of Motorsport Talent Management is to support talented young motor sportsmen.

Tamás Őry is also the founder of TR Consult KFT, which specializes in cyber security issues.

A Finn works as an entrepreneur

Member of the company’s board Mika Wilska works as a wholesale entrepreneur. Wilska’s company Head Growth is registered in Valkeala. It was founded last November. The company’s field of business is export and import business as well as business management and export consulting. Wilska has no other business operations in Finland. could not reach Mika Wilska to comment on the acquisition.

Motorsport people have cautious expectations

Chairman of the motor association Erkki Heikkinen does not already know the new owners of Kymi Ring. The association was aware that the bankruptcy estate had applied for a new owner for the motor sports center.

– This raises positive expectations. The belief is that the new owner will invest and develop the area. In this way, what has already been built there can be used for both motor sports and motorcycles, says Heikkinen.

The district court of Päijät-Häme put Kymiring oy, which previously managed the Keväälä motor sports center, into bankruptcy. The Lithuanian railway company applied for bankruptcy itself, because according to its declaration, it is insolvent.

The biggest creditors are Ahlströ real estate oy, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Nordea Bank, Finnvera, Lahti Events and Mobility Properties. According to the bankruptcy application, the realizable value of the property is 6.2 million euros. There are about 22 million in debts in total. has not been able to reach Tuomas Penttilä, the lawyer appointed as administrator, to comment on how the transaction affects the bankruptcy estate.

The state has also announced that it will collect its receivables from the bankruptcy estate.
