The new news about Therese Johaug, which makes the whole of Norway cheer – the national ski team now confirms: “I hope that…”

Therese Johaug is rumored to be making a comeback.
Now the Norwegian national ski team makes an announcement that makes the whole country cheer.
– She looks motivated, says national team coach Sjur Ole Svarstad.

During her last years in cross-country skiing, Therese Johaug was completely superior. She won pretty much every single distance race she competed in, winning both Olympic and World Championship gold before retiring.

New news about Johaug

Therese Johaug has since become a mother, but there have always been rumors that she will return to cross-country skiing, when the World Championships next winter will be decided on home soil in Norway. During the winter, Johaug was rumored to keep going and train on his own, and there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with his form.

Yesterday, Norway released its national team squad for the coming season, and Therese Johaug was not there. But one detail made the entire Norwegian people rejoice. They chose to leave one spot open, and it was easy to figure out that it will go to Therese Johaug – if she herself decides to make a sensational comeback.

“I hope that…”

According to national team coach Sjur Ole Svarstad, Johaug has an obvious place if she wants.

– I hope Therese will come to the conclusion that she wants to invest next year. She is very welcome, says Svarstad.

Svarstad himself has done a training session with Johaug, and the report he can leave from it is positive, to say the least.

– I was lucky enough to train with her this morning. I think she looked motivated, but I don’t know what she chooses to do, says Svarstad.
