Avatar: The Lord of the Elements launched on Netflix on February 22, 2024. As a live-action remake, the series brings with it a brand new cast who bring the characters from the original series Avatar (2005-2008) to life. But was the jump from animation to live action film successful? Everyone has to find out for themselves when watching.     Even scarier is coming Koh, the face snatcher (originally spoken by George Takei), hence. He is an ancient spirit who, as a massive spider-like caterpillar, does exactly what his nickname suggests.

    Wan Shi Tong

    Wan Shi Tong (voiced by Randall Duk Kim) in Avatar is a powerful ancient spirit full of wisdom who takes the form of a large owl and should not be angered.

    In addition to the well-known characters from the Avatar template, the remake also adds new characters, such as Suki’s mother Yukari (Tamlyn Tomita). Hopefully, if Netflix orders season 2, we can also look forward to seeing more beloved staff like earthbender Toph.
