Frida Karlsson is one of the big star names in Swedish skiing.
And she is training hard for the upcoming WC season.
But now she is showing off in a completely different sport than cross-country skiing.
Last season proved Frida Karlsson again that she is one of the world’s best cross-country skiers. The 24-year-old managed to reach third place in the overall World Cup and took home the difficult five-mile in Holmenkollen.
Karlsson’s training
Next season, the World Ski Championships in Trondheim 2025 await, and then Karlsson will be in top form in the best way possible. Therefore, she is in hard training during the summer to build up her body and become powerful for the coming winter.
The Swedish ski star will need it if a certain one Therese Johaug finally decides to make a comeback again. But it’s not just skiing that she trains on during the summer.
Frida in a new sport
Now a new picture of Karlsson reveals that it is also time to compete in a completely different sport. Frida was a promising soccer player for a long time and now she laces up her shoes again to play in Remsle UIF.

She will play a match together with her sisters Fanny Karlsson and Hannah Karlsson on Saturday.

The Swedish skiing hero is also praised by the Swedes ahead of his comeback as a footballer.
“Good luck, best Frida,” writes a user on Instagram.
“So fun! What a thing to be able to play all 3 together”, writes another.
“Cool! A role model that shows that several sports pay off,” writes a third.
