Continuing with firm steps as a successful move for Hyundai in the compact SUV market, Kona assumed one of the leading roles in this transition period with its fully electric version. The next few years are a transition to the new generation for the model, which will continue its sales in 2021 with its facelift version in Turkey. For Hyundai Kona, which was caught on camera with a dense camouflage cover during the testing process for a while, this time the first serious hints of change on the design side appeared. With the new images showing that the futuristic front of the commercial model Staria, which entered Turkey in May, will be integrated, visual expectations about the vehicle have increased a little more.

Kona, which shows that the basic parts such as the bumper and grille will be completely changed, as well as the spatial LED daytime running light in Staria, will again offer rich options under its hood. In addition to the fully electric version, the hybrid engine combinations used in the new generation Kia Niro are expected to be positioned in the vehicle. The hybrid combination, which is shaped in the center of the 1.6-liter engine, stands out with 140 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque. For the all-electric option, there is a single engine producing 201 horsepower and a 64 kWh battery combination. With this combination, the range claim is 450 kilometers. The Kona N, which hosts the firsts for the Hyundai N department, is among the ones that appear on the table, as well as the new generation product range.
