The winter electricity price in southern Sweden is expected to be lower than what experts and the market expected this summer. The forward price of electricity has been halved, reports say Echo in Swedish Radio.
During the summer, there was speculation that the electricity price would be three to four times higher than the already high prices from last winter. Now it looks set to be more expensive than last winter, but only half the prices predicted in August.
There are several reasons why the term price has fallen.
