The Genshin Impact version 3.6 special program is up and giving players a glimpse of the new characters, banners and events.

On March 31, 2023, a major live stream took place introducing the new content in Genshin Impact. The next version 3.6 carries the motto “A Parade of Providence” (in German: “Gathering of Enlightenment”). The release date of version 3.6 is April 12th.

In version 3.6 there are:

  • 2 new playable characters
  • 3 rerun banners
  • Events, new enemies and another area

    These are the banners in version 3.6 with Baizhu and Kaveh

    Who are the new characters? As a playable 5-star character, a well-known NPC from Liyue comes in version 3.6. We’re talking about Baizhu, the owner of Bubu Pharmacy. He is a Dendro and Katalyst user. Its constellation is called Lagenaria.

    As for his ability, it says, “Baizhu can periodically create a seamless shield with healing effects for your party members. Certain Reaction DMG inflicted by the characters being healed by Seamless Shield will be increased” (via Genshin Impact Special Program).

    Also playable is NPC Kaveh, an architect and roommate of Alhaitham. He is a 4-star character that also belongs to the Dendro element. He fights with a two-handed sword. The constellation of Kaveh is called Paradisaea.

    Kaveh is an offensive character who fights with the Mehrak trunk: ” Mehrak’s mapping ability can also be used for offensive purposes, dealing Dendro DMG. Not only does he improve Kaveh’s combat abilities, but he’s also capable of instantly popping all dendro cores within a certain AoE range” (via Genshin Impact Special Program).

    In addition to information, the special program gives players 3 new promo codes in Genshin Impact. However, you have to redeem them quickly:

    What banners will there be in version 3.6? The new version will run in 2 phases:

  • In the first half, you can get Dendro Archon Nahida and Hydro Dancer Nilou via rerun banners.
  • In the second half, alongside Baizhu, the Kryo character Ganyu will have an event banner.

    • The new character Kaveh will also be available via the Phase 2 event banners.

    What else will be in version 3.6? In addition to the characters and banners, there will be a big academy event with various mini-games where you can earn numerous rewards.

    Also coming are new story quests featuring Baizhu and Nahida, an additional desert area in Sumeru, and new enemies – including the “Dragon of Glowing Green” and the enemy types “Hilichurl Anemo Walker” and “Hilichurl Hydro Walker”.
