The new BMW 7 Series was included in the Turkish lists as of December 2022, after the launch process in April.
BMW’s Turkey product range is getting its flagships in December. The 7 Series is also included among the models shared by the X7 and the SUV side. The starting price for the new generation “7”, which entered the lists with a single engine option and two different hardware combinations, is 8,899,000 TL. The product range, which hit the road with its seventh generation, makes a difference not only with its design but also with the “movie theater” effect it contains. A new experience is promised to the rear passengers with the 31-inch 8K resolution folding panel with roof integrated, used for the first time in the family.

Developed on the CLAR platform, which we also know from other brands located within the BMW Group, the new 7 Series brings with it some unique developments in terms of infrastructure. The model, which uses a steel, aluminum and titanium alloy composite body, seems to have left behind the carbon touches of the previous generation. It is also among the important details that BMW shares that there is no significant decrease in weight despite this. The vehicle also has dimensional improvements.
Compared to the previous generation, we see improvements of 130 millimeters on the length side, 48 millimeters on the width side, and 51 millimeters on the height side. With these improvements, the new 7 Series, which comes with a total length of 5,391 millimeters and a height of 1,544 millimeters, will now be sold with only one option on the wheelbase side. Preferring to make an improvement between the two figures instead of the standard and long wheelbase, BMW has determined the value here as 3,215 millimeters on the LWB of the previous generation.
Switching to the new era with its fully electric version, the 7 Series will also be offered for sale with different engine options such as diesel and hybrid. Announcing that the diesel option will be offered for sale in 2023 over the 740d xDrive, the brand will assign its in-line six-cylinder machine producing approximately 300 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque here. It is among the official details that the vehicle can complete the acceleration from 0 to 100 in 6.3 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 250 km / h.

Along with the 750e xDrive and M760e xDrive versions, there will be two hybrid options in the family, let’s say that 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder gasoline engines will be positioned here. The first data for the versions are announced as 485 hp-670 Nm torque and 565 hp-800 Nm torque, respectively, while the pure electric driving range is given as 80 kilometers.
