Bulgarian President Rumen Radev decided to hold early general elections on April 2, as the 48th parliament failed to form a government. Radev announced that he will dissolve the parliament as of February 3, with the decree he published.
THEY FAIL TO FORM A GOVERNMENT
There were 7 political parties in the parliament, which was formed after the last early general election in Bulgaria on October 2, 2022. Three of these parties could not form a coalition government that could receive a vote of confidence.
Bulgaria will hold early general elections for the 5th time in the last 2 years.
