After the non-execution of the international arrest warrant against Blaise Compaoré, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the National Press Center Norbert ZongoGuezouma Sanogo, denounces a democratic decline: “ Blaise was the clan leader. It is he who brings them back like that in total impunity. There is already an arrest warrant against François Compaoré, who has multiplied the maneuvers not to come. So they are ready for anything, in any case to return to the country with total impunity. »
According to Boureima Ouedraogo, president of the Society of Private Press Publishers, a series of events poses a serious danger to the rule of law in Burkina Faso: “ Whether it is the law on the legal regime of the audiovisual press or the law on the legal regime of the written press, it is written in the law that the general managers are recruited by call for candidates and subsequently appointed by the Council of Ministers.
