The Swedish national team faces Belgium on Friday in the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship. Ahead of the decisive meeting, two players and a manager in Blågult have tested positive for covid-19.
The national team announced this week that it is Hanna Glas and Emma Kullberg who have tested positive and will therefore miss the match against Belgium.
Hanna Bennison, Jennifer Falk and Jonna Andersson have also all reported symptoms of illness but all are back in training, it is however unclear if they are ready to play or not.
– Right now we don’t know how many are available, says confederation captain Peter Gerhardsson on Thursday.
