The “national emergency” declared in the USA due to Kovid-19 is lifted

The national emergency declared in the USA due to Kovid 19

The White House Office of Management and Budget has sent an information note to Congress regarding the deadlines for the “national emergency” and “public health emergency” declarations due to Covid-19.

The national emergency declared under former President Donald Trump was expected to end on March 1, and the public health emergency on April 11. In the briefing note, it was stated that these emergency situations will end on 11 May.

In the information note, it was stated that the emergency situations were extended to prevent confusion and uncertainties in the health systems, but this situation did not impose any restrictions on people to wear masks or to be vaccinated.

Biden will veto it if the bill, which calls for an immediate end to the state of emergency that Republicans plan to introduce this week, is passed by Congress, the memo said.

The end of emergencies means that administrative decisions regarding Covid-19 vaccines and treatment processes will come from the federal government’s first hand. (AA)
