TRAFFIC IN ILE DE FRANCE. Closed since Tuesday December 13 at 10 p.m., the national N118 was reopened to traffic this Thursday December 15, confirmed the Paris police headquarters.
Extended Wednesday December 14 in the evening until Thursday December 15 at 10 a.m., the closure to traffic of the National N118 ended this Thursday at 10 a.m., as confirmed by the police headquarters. The latter announced on Wednesday that it was maintaining the measure for this Thursday morning due to the risk of ice storms overnight in the region. No vehicle was thus able to circulate on this very busy axis which connects the Sèvres bridge, between Boulogne-Billancourt and Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine) to Ulis (Essonne).
Until what time will the N118 be closed? Which alternate route?
The National N118 is now reopened to traffic since Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. Several alternative routes remain possible in this sector.
- If you want to take the direction of Bordeaux or Nantes from Porte d’Auteuil on the Boulevard Périphérique, it is advisable to bypass the axis by continuing to Porte d’Orléans on the Boulevard Périphérique then take the direction of Lyon. You will find a junction for the direction of Bordeaux and Nantes at the level of the commune of Wissous, near Orly, allowing you to join the A10 motorway.
- If you wish to reach Paris via Porte de Saint-Cloud, it is advisable to take the A10 towards Paris, then the A6a to Porte d’Orléans.
- Finally, if you are coming from the Vélizy sector and heading towards Paris, the preferred route is to take the A86 towards Versailles then the National 12 and finally the A12 to reach Paris.
