In 2019, the music school, the Utrecht Theatre School and a dance centre moved into the building on Domplein. The intention at the time was that these three institutions would rent the building from the municipality together. In 2021, a separate foundation was established for this purpose: DOMUS. But things did not go well between the three parties. Different wishes and interests meant that the collaboration left much to be desired. The dance school left after a conflict and the Theatre School was also no longer on the DOMUS board after a few months.
