Lawyer Sander Askamp responded on behalf of RaYan last week and called the closure “disproportionate” and “reasonably exaggerated”. He had expected a warning at first. RaYan is contesting the inspection’s decision and has now gone to court. “The patient comes first, but legally speaking you cannot just move people. They not only receive care there, but they also live there. You do evict people from their homes.”
