Mecha Break has had thousands of players on Steam in the past few days. Some of them have had fun with the strange character editor.
What game is it? Mecha-Break is a multiplayer game in which each player controls a mecha. These are robot-like machines that have different equipment. You use these machines to gain the upper hand in PvEvP battles.
Players can also customize the look of their machines. There is also a character creator for the player’s human figure that controls the mecha. Some players have now used this character creator to design absurd characters.
A playtest was running over the past few days and reached a peak of 51,000 players on Steam (via SteamDB). This test ended on August 13th.

What’s this about the character editor? The character editor in Mecha Break offers numerous options for customizing your character. There are various preset options for almost all selections.
Instead, you can set your own values under the “Advanced” tab and create more or less human creations. For example, one X user shared this character:
Other users gave their characters body proportions that do not look natural. This is particularly noticeable with the head. You can make it larger or smaller independently of the body. A character with a huge head quickly looks like a wobbly figure:
Mecha Break currently has no release date. However, Steam is talking about an imminent announcement. Until the release, you can still think of strange characters or cool, individually designed fighting machines that you can then create in Mecha Break.
