Comedy fans will enjoy Manitou’s Shoe. For many, Michael Herbig’s western fun is much more than a cherished cinematic experience from childhood. In 2001 the adventure blossomed with Herbig, Christian Tramitz and Sky du Mont the most successful German film of all time (via Insidekino).
Those who prefer horror without a break instead of non-stop gags should devote themselves to the four new additions to the Conjuring series. The Conjuring, Conjuring 2, Annabelle and Annabelle 2 are all set in the universe of a ghostbusting couple who declare war on various poltergeists and demons. For those who find this too genre-oriented, the best thing to do is the Oscar-winning drama Silver Linings.
