The most relaxed LoL Twitch streamer wins the prize for the best freak out

The Streamer Awards took place again in Germany in 2024. Prizes are awarded in various categories based on community votes. There was the Best Rage Moment again and it was won by someone who is actually known as a relaxed guy.

What are the Streamer Awards? The Streamer Awards took place again on December 5th, 2024. This is an awards ceremony for the German-speaking Twitch area in which the community can vote for various things in different categories.

The popular Best Rage Moment was there again. Well-known streamers were nominated again, only one was a bit out of line:

  • NiklasWilson, SidneyEweka – Eli is thinking of us
  • EloTRiX – The Mates again
  • NoWay4u-Sir – Then fuck off
  • Trymacs, Chefstrobel – The Ten One Olaf
  • xRohat – controller crash test

    • The winner in the category is NoWay, who is actually known as a relaxed guy and doesn’t fit the cliché of the angry LoL player at all. When he receives the award, he even apologizes again.

    NoWay is actually a relaxed guy

    Why did NoWay freak out so much back then? In the clip, NoWay responds to a comment in the chat that says chat has been toxic lately. NoWay then freaks out and insults his viewers. He was particularly fond of the user Chappo, because he says to him in the clip: Then fuck off.

    That doesn’t really suit NoWay, because he is considered a pretty relaxed streamer who stays calm in the game despite annoying situations. Unlike the popular Tyler1, he is also seen for his explanations of the game and his calm manner.

    But that seems to be exactly the reason he was elected. Unlike other streamers, freaking out is pretty untypical for NoWay. In his acceptance speech he even apologized:

    That was really the prize I didn’t want to win. […] That was a very bad moment for me. Chappo, if you hear this out there, write to me, you’ll get an award too. I’m very, very sorry, this has gotten a bit out of hand. I take this as a reminder that I’ll be a little more careful in the future.

    Fans at least seem to have liked NoWay’s speech. For example, Vinsmoke34 wrote on reddit: Loved how Noway apologized for his award-winning rage moment.

    It’s common knowledge that League of Legends is a game that tends to get players excited. NoWay has often criticized the game in the past and even considered quitting: “If nothing changes, I’m gone” – will NoWay stop playing LoL soon?
