The Israeli army has been bombing the Gaza Strip, where approximately 2.3 million Palestinians live, day and night for 21 days. Israeli attacks targeting every region of Gaza intensified in the north of the region this evening.
THEY ANNOUNCED THEY EXPANDED THEIR OPERATIONS
The Israeli army first carried out intense attacks on the Beit Hanun District in the north of Gaza with howitzer attacks in the evening. Following the howitzer attacks, the Israeli army launched an intense air attack on the north of Gaza, especially Beit Hanoun. Israeli Army Spokesperson said that ground forces expanded their operations in the Gaza Strip tonight.
The fire of frequently dropped bombs illuminated the sky in Gaza, which was in darkness because Israel cut off its electricity and did not allow fuel entry. Israeli aircraft dropped bombs on the area one after the other for about an hour.
While the sounds of explosions reached the city of Sderot on the Israeli side, residents of the region state that the attacks launched by Israel this evening are the most intense bombardment since October 7. The Israeli army continues to hit the region with howitzers as well as air strikes.
COMMUNICATION LINES WERE CUT IN GAZA
On the other hand, it was reported that communication with the blockaded Gaza Strip was cut off.
Palestinian telecommunications company “Jawwal” announced in its post on its social media account that all telephone and internet services in Gaza have ended.
In the post, it was stated that the infrastructure in the region was damaged due to the intense bombardment carried out by Israel and “Gaza was cut off from the world”. (AA)
