What kind of magic is this? Word of Power: Death (English: Power Word Kill) is one of the most iconic spells from the Dungeons and Dragons universe. This special level 9 spell forces any creature with 100 hit points or less to die instantly. The special feature, or rather the catch, is that you can only use the spell once per campaign. The spell in Baldur’s Gate 3 would probably be too strong if you could use it per long or short rest.

You can even use this spell on the final boss once he drops to 100 hit points or less.

This is how you get the spell: The path to this extraordinary spell begins when you discover that you are a Bhaalspawn with the Dark Urge. To do this you have to kill Orin and switch to the evil side. After you defeat Orin in Act 3 in the Temple of Bhaal, a dark scene awaits you.
