In October 2024, Screen Rant discussed the potential for violence of the Sons of Anarchy series – And what role series creator Kurt Sutter literally played. The series represents power struggles within the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle gang, based on the figure Jaxon “Jax” Teller (Charlie Hunnam).
It is no surprise that it gets to the point and the members of the motorcycle club have to put a lot of violence away. Almost every figure that we meet in Sons of Anarchy will eventually become a murderer (and often not only once).
Jax alone is responsible for the murder of forty -five characters in the course of the series – including his own mother Gemma.
Kurt Sutter shocked as Otto Delaney
Gang member Otto “Big Otto” Delaney in turn – who spends a large part of the time in prison – kills five people and is therefore far from Jax. Nevertheless, it seems unpredictable and dangerous.
Otto’s reputation hurries ahead and from season 5 you can see him in action. For example, he smuggles a weapon into prison and murdered a nurse to prove his power.
