The black depths of the sea are a haven of fears and nightmares for many. So it’s no wonder that the basking shark action Meg will soon have a second part. But there is already a massive megalodon to admire in the trailer for The Black Demon, who has put an oil rig on the menu.

After Meg: Horror Shark takes revenge on humans in The Black Demon
Actually engineer Paul (Josh Lucas) only wants to go on vacation with his family. However, while inspecting an oil rig, he discovers that a gigantic Megalodon, a shark predecessor from primeval times, up to mischief there. According to the locals, it is a demon who wants to take revenge on the people for their environmental destruction.
The trailer already sets the tone for the The Black Demon movie experience. The CGI effects of the fantasy horror may not be top-notch due to the budget, but well-staged shock moments and believable characters could make up for it in the end. And thus create a serious competitor for Meg 2.

There is no release date for The Black Demon yet. In the US it is scheduled to hit theaters on April 28, 2023. We could in this country a publication in Summer 2023 present on Blu-ray and DVD.
