The MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV finally continues

Next Tuesday, November 12th, the time has come and the story of the latest expansion of Final Fantasy XIV continues. In addition to further story assignments, further new content awaits brave adventurers.

Where is the path taking you? First of all, patch 7.1 called “Crossroads” ties in with the end of the main story of Dawntrail. Peace has been restored in Tural, but all conflicts have not been resolved. In around 7 new quests you will go in search of long-lost memories.

Within the story you will come across the new story dungeon “Yuweyawata Research Station”, which depicts a time when Prince Zoraal Ja faced off against a Tural Vidraal. You can also accept Pelupelu’s orders and support them in setting up a travel agency.

In addition, the extreme test “Eternal Queen” and the dream test Byakko will be added and can each be played with 8 players. If you want to jump into battle again with 24 players, you can look forward to the new alliance raid Echoes from Vana’diel (Part 1) Jeuno: The First Stage, which is inspired by Final Fantasy XI.

Innovations for housing lovers and more

What else does the patch bring? In addition to the playable content, there are also some adjustments and innovations that will please some people. You can now customize the design of your interior as you wish, but all furniture will automatically be stored in the warehouse.

Gold Saucer fans can also be happy if Doman Mahjong is one of their favorites. Because with Patch 7.1 you can also play matches with members of the League of Dawn, and even have it set to music.

Anyone new to Final Fantasy XIV with this patch will benefit from an overhaul of the beginner arena. New exercises have been added to various attack markers and combat mechanics to help Plantlets prepare for their upcoming adventures.

Things get extremely chaotic in later patches

Is there more? Yes! Although not directly on November 12th, there is more new content waiting for you with the next interim patches, some of which is quite impressive:

With patch 7.11 the new fatal raid “A Second Future (fatal)” appears in which you once again stand in the way of the light-flooded world and Ryne.

As part of Patch 7.15, you can once again embark on an adventurous journey alongside the most famous criminologist Eorzea has ever seen. We’re talking about Hildibrand, whose crazy quest series are always a surprise. This patch also includes new desired deliveries at Nitowikwe and side orders at the Wachumeqimeqi market.

24 players can take part in the chaotic alliance raid.

The biggest innovation is probably the new chaotic alliance raid “The Cloud of Darkness (chaotic)”. In this content, 24 players face a single opponent with the same difficulty as the epic raids – but with three times as many players. This content will be released one week after Patch 7.15 is released, midway through the next major patch.

Later with interim patch 7.16, new role missions for defenders, healers and attackers will be added. As with all patches and interim patches, new items, armor, weapons, mounts and companions will be added here, which can be collected by completing the content.

An otherwise inconspicuous companion has recently attracted attention after recording a price increase of 1,600% on the market board. Previously it was available for an apple and a gil, and with the price increase even mods were created to avoid purchasing it.
