Minister Robbert Dijkgraaf (Education, Culture and Science) wants to be able to intervene if many foreign students come to the Netherlands. He also wants to give educational institutions more options to limit the influx. Utrecht University says it is “happy with the instruments Dijkgraaf offers”. Student organization ISO fears that the measures will not be in time for the coming academic year.
