Social Democracy Party (SPD) Minister Faeser called for a determined fight against organized crime, in a statement at the autumn conference of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) in Wiesbaden.
10 THOUSAND EURO LIMIT
Stating that illegally acquired assets should no longer enter the legal economic cycle, Faeser noted that with an upper limit of 10 thousand euros to be set for cash payments, financial resources can be monitored more easily and the risk of hiding the source of large assets can be reduced.
Faeser also said that they want to expand the assessment and analysis capabilities and investigative capacities of the Federal Criminal Police Office and establish a joint federal and state platform to combat organized crime.
Emphasizing the importance of determining and eliminating the regular and illegal means of transportation and distribution of organized crime groups, the Minister underlined the importance of fighting organized crime together and with determination. (AA)
