At the end of May, the Justice and Security Inspectorate published a devastating report on the prison in Nieuwersluis. Detained women there are the victims of structurally unethical behaviour, including sexual misconduct. It is not only about sexually tinted remarks by employees towards the female prisoners, but also about French kissing, oral gratification and relationships between employees and prisoners.
