The mind blowing figure in the classification of high schools

Linternaute.com has unveiled its ranking of the best high schools in France 2025. This year, it is still largely dominated by Parisian establishments and Ile-de-France.

Linternaute.com unveils this Wednesday, April 2, its ranking of the best high schools in France this Wednesday, April 2. It is based on indicators provided by the Ministry of National Education. The private high school Stanislas won first place with an overall note of 19.95/20. It is followed by the Lycée de la Maison de la Légion of Honor in Saint-Denis and the Henri IV high school located in the 5th arrondissement of the capital.

The observation is the same as in previous years: Paris and Ile-de-France largely dominate the classification. Among the first ten, there are six Parisian high schools and four Little Crown high schools (Saint-Denis, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Charenton-le-Pont and Rueil-Malmaison), if we take into account the establishments that presented more than 100 candidates for the baccalaureate tests. It brings together three public high schools and seven private.

Six other Parisian high schools or Ile-de-France complete the ranking to 16th place. It is therefore necessary to wait until 17th place, with the criterion of more than 100 candidates presented to the baccalaureate, to find a high school in another region. This year, it is the Marseille Lacordaire establishment, with 223 students presenting the baccalaureate, which makes a good performance with 100% success rate in the baccalaureate and 100% mentions. The criterion which fishing slightly more than its 2010 competitors is that of the access rate from seconds to baccalaureate (91%).

The Marseille establishment obtains the note of 19.55/20, the same note as last year, having won a point on the mention rate, but losing one on the access of the seconds. He was already the best placed provincial high school last year, recognized in particular for learning a multitude of languages such as Italian, Chinese or Corsica and its artistic sections.

With the same note, we find the Strasbourg high school the Jean Sturm gymnasium with a success rate of 100% in the baccalaureate and 98% of mentions. The access rate of seconds to the final diploma is 93%. These two provincial high schools entering the top 20 are private establishments.

For other provincial high schools, you have to look after the twentieth place with the Lycée Provence de Marseille which obtains 19.5/20. The Grenoble international lycée Europole and that Jean Paul II in Saint-Grégoire near Rennes obtain a similar global note. The hegemony of Parisian establishments and Ile-de-France is therefore well asserted.
