Gullbringa Golfklubb was quite a distance from home, so mom and dad would drive me there in the morning and pick me up in the evening, but all my friends would be at the court all day, and we’d be looking for balls in ponds and ditches soon got tired of washing and drying dirty, wet clothes, so she offered to buy balls instead. But the real attraction was the thrill of looking. Maybe it was my mom I thought of when I took my clothes off at Doral, to avoid getting my shoes and clothes dirty During the summer my dad started playing because he was tired of sitting in the parking lot and listening to me say “Just one more bucket of balls.” My dad soon discovered that it wasn’t that easy to hit the ball straight it seemed!”
