We anticipated it given the fervor surrounding its release: Stellar Blade has exceeded one million copies sold worldwide. A score achieved in two months of operation, since the game has been available since April 26, 2024. The news was transmitted by the Shift Up studio which revealed its first financial results during a press conference dedicated to its IPO . Things are therefore going rather well for the Korean studio, which took the opportunity to reveal its road map to keep Stellar Blade alive for several more months. Kim Hyung-tae, the CEO of the studio but also game director of the game, announced that paid content would arrive, undoubtedly via collaborations with other licenses. This will come after several free updates, the idea being to seduce players with interesting and clever levers. For now, we know that Photo mode will arrive in August, that there will be new skins in October and that DLC could also arrive. Moreover, given this success, Sony Interactive Entertainment has been open about a PC release of Stellar Blade. Wait & see as they say.
