Released on March 21, Tchia is the work of Awaceb, a small studio whose founders are from New Caledonia. In the space of a few months, since January 2023 exactly, the game has started to go around the world and to enjoy a great promotional campaign, helped by a press seduced by the proposal of an open adventure game world, certainly very inspired by Zelda Breath of the Wild, but also offering its own identity. After six weeks of sales, Tchia is happy to announce that it has crossed the threshold of one million copies sold worldwide. A success that the studio did not imagine so fast and to do this, a new trailer has been put online, the famous Accolade Trailer with a quote from the enthusiastic press. At the same time, we learn of the opening of pre-orders for a new physical edition of Tchia on PS4 and PS5, to be released on July 18. A boxed version produced in partnership with Maximum Games.
