The NBA players association has announced that it plans to appeal Butler’s suspension.
The Miami Heat of the NBA basketball league have set their star players Jimmy Butler’s banned for seven games. According to the reasons published by the club on its website, Butler’s behavior in recent weeks has been harmful to the team.
Butler has requested a transfer away from Miami.
– With his actions and words, he has shown that he no longer wants to be part of this team, the club explained on its website.
Due to the suspension, Butler will lose ESPN’s including about $2.4 million from his salary. The NBA players association has announced that it plans to appeal Butler’s suspension.
Butler, 35, has played in Miami since 2019. He has previously played in Chicago, Minnesota and Philadelphia. Butler is a six-time NBA All-Star and won Olympic gold with Team USA in 2016.
