Marcus Krüger was forced to leave the derby against AIK after a tough hit from Hampus Falk barely two weeks ago. Since then, Djurgården’s team captain has not been in any of the team’s match squads, but ahead of Wednesday night’s meeting with Björklöven, there were hopes that the 33-year-old would come to play. When the line-up was presented, however, it was clear that Krüger will once again be sidelined as he is still not fully recovered from the injury. John Norrman is replaced as the first center, who is flanked by Wiktor Nilsson and Linus Klasen in Djurgården’s enterprising first chain. Djurgården’s meeting with Björklöven can be followed on TV4 Play.
