The company’s CEO, who is also the top manager of Scan in Sweden, is named Lars Appelqvist. And it is safe to call him a bit of a doldis as he sits on the board of the owner company. But despite that, he is in no great need.
Because when the successes of the company pile up, it usually also reflects on the company’s leaders. So also for Appelqvist, who in 2022 reported earned income of a whopping SEK 4,575,100, according to information from Tax Agency as News24 took part in.
This gives him a somewhat unbelievable monthly salary of a breathtaking SEK 381,258 on average when the sum is distributed over 12 months.
In addition to the income, he also owns a villa of 160 square meters and a plot of 766 square meters, which has an estimated value of around SEK 6.4 million.
