The MCU is silent on a huge problem even after 6 movies dead – but there’s a really good explanation for it

The MCU is silent on a huge problem even after

The MCU is a closed system that connects every event and every character. At least that’s how it seemed for a long time. But since the Marvel film Eternals, a massive giant named Tiamut has been looming out of the globe. And nobody talks about it, not even in the recent films Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Maybe the producers want to the problem is simply eliminated for Thunderbolts.

Mega MCU problems could be solved by sinister new Avengers

In Eternals (2021), the incredibly powerful Celestials appear on screen for the first time as a key story element. In the finale of the film, a new member of the Marvel beings named Tiamut born from the globe, however, gets stuck due to the intervention of the eponymous hero troupe. Since then, however, the event has not been mentioned in the MCU.

Tiamut in Eternals

That could soon change, as a theory from Screen Rant suggests. As a result, the seedy anti-hero squad of the upcoming Marvel blockbuster Thunderbolts go in search of the MCU resource Vibranium. Namely, the team is recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and her appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hinted at a greater interest in Vibranium.

The origin of the metal suggests that the Celestials are also made of the precious substance. So Tiamut could be an important objective for the main character of the film.

When is the Marvel blockbuster Thunderbolts in cinemas?

Whether the suspicion is confirmed will only become clear in over a year. Thunderbolts is scheduled to July 24, 2024 come to the cinema. The new Marvel team includes the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Black Widow foster sister Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh).
