The local Facebook group is part of “Bike babes Sweden”. It is a gathering place for women who have, or are in the process of obtaining, a motorcycle license.
Isn’t it enough that there are “regular” groups for all motorcycle enthusiasts?
– Everyone has the right to be in such groups as well, but I think it is necessary for just girls as well. Sometimes you don’t feel like you want it that hard, or how to say it, says Therese Palo.
“A different environment”
Therese Palo believes that many people have asked for a meeting place because it will be a different environment when only women are there.
– It can easily become a race and harsh words when boys are in the group and then maybe not all girls dare to say anything – then a separate girl group may be needed.
