The Claude Monet puzzle game The Master’s Pupil is coming to Steam and Switch, and the canvas is ready for the final brushstrokes on your adventure.

Australian developer Pat Naoum is a hand-painted puzzle adventure that follows the life of Claude Monet through a rich variety of engaging visuals and dynamic soundscapes. The Master’s Pupil‘i will be released very soon.

The Master’s Pupil, which will be released on Steam for Windows and Mac on July 28, 2023, and for Switch on the Nintendo Store, will help players navigate the complex world of Claude Monet and help him complete many of his masterpieces.

As you explore a magnificent hand-painted landscape, puzzles involving color, physics and space await you to solve to progress. Just as Claude Monet has faced many trials and tribulations throughout his life, the game gets more challenging and complex with each level, culminating in a battle to save the master artist’s eyes.

The Master’s Pupil puts art front and center, using a perfect mix of sound, gameplay and visuals rather than words to gracefully convey Claude Monet’s emotions and story. As they progress through the game and overcome challenges, players will be continually rewarded with stunning backgrounds, captivating music and Monet’s own creations, creating an unforgettable gaming experience that explores the uniqueness of the master’s life.

Developed exclusively by Pat Naoum, The Master’s Pupil is funded by Screen Australia. Featuring more than 80 puzzles with physics, color mixing and timing, and a non-speech soundscape, the game promises a unique interactive experience.

Hand-painted and expertly crafted, nearly every part of this game was meticulously crafted in real life using a real paintbrush before being transferred to the world. The results are unique visuals reminiscent of Monet’s work and full of developer personality.

In the game you will experience the life of Claude Monet like never before. As we navigate intricate 3D spaces, we learn more about the painter’s life and dive into a rich soundscape produced by independent composer Steven W Schouten.
