THE ONLY EXIT IS IN THE SOUTH

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that there is only one exit from Hama, towards Homs in the south, and that it is 3 to 4 kilometers away from Hama, after the fierce clashes between opposition groups and the Assad regime forces.

In the news in the Arab press, it was stated that opposition groups took control of many strategic towns and villages in Hama, including Tal al-Nasiriyah, Rahbat al-Taslih, Maarshahur, Taybat Al-Imam, Halfaya and Khattab. It was stated in the news that regime forces had withdrawn from many points in Hama.

It is located on a strategically important road connecting Hama, Aleppo, Homs and Damascus.

The conflict started between Assad regime forces and anti-regime armed groups on November 27 in the western countryside of Aleppo province in northern Syria.

Anti-regime armed groups, which rapidly advanced from the western countryside of Aleppo towards the center on 28 November, captured most of the center on 30 November.

Armed groups, which gained control over all of Idlib by taking the Khan Sheikhoun district on November 30, continue their advance by clashing in Hama province.

Tel Rifat district center was saved from terrorism during the Dawn of Freedom Operation launched by the Syrian National Army against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG on December 1 in the Aleppo countryside.
