The second target of the man who stabbed a 64-year-old woman to death during Almedalen’s politics week in Gotland, Sweden, was the chairman of the center party Annie Loöf.
The stabber struck at the beginning of July near the place where Lööf was supposed to hold a press conference. The event was canceled and Lööf was taken to safety.

Annie Lööf has commented that she is shocked to learn about the preparation of the crime against her. At the same time, he stresses that one must not let anger win. Several Swedish party leaders have expressed their support for Lööf.
