The man in question: I know the future queen

TV4 Nyheterna has taken part in the preliminary investigation where the intervening police officers and the man himself talk about the incident.

The 35-year-old man is a citizen of Portugal. He was arrested masked with a mouth guard after the guards perceived that he was behaving strangely. At the time of the arrest, he had street fighting weapons, knives, handcuffs and other criminal aids “with which serious bodily harm can be inflicted”, the preliminary investigation states. He also had a soft air gun, a spray can and a lighter.

“The man states that he has all the dangerous items on him to be able to defend himself. He claims that he is there to warn the crown princess that someone wants her badly,” the police write in the preliminary investigation.

According to the police, the man must have said that he knows “the future queen”.
