The magic of Heliövaara and Glasspool broke and the incredible road was broken in the semi-finals – “It was a few points short”

The wild vibe continues Heliovaara Glasspool already in

The games of Harri Heliövaara and Lloyd Glasspool, who made top performances in the French Open doubles final, ended in the semi-finals. The uninvested Finnish-British couple had to give up the tournament to the 16th-ranked Indian-Dutch couple.

Harri Heliövaara and Lloyd Glasspool lost their tennis French Open doubles semi-finals after a tough battle. Heliövaara and Glasspool, who left uninvested in the tournament, won the first round, but India Rohan Bopanna and the Netherlands Matwe Middelkoop took the following and thus the Finnish-British couple’s journey ended at 6–4, 4–6, 6–7.

– It was a great tournament, it won’t be taken away from us. But on top of that is such a big annoyance. Tight match, the seams were, Heliövaara said in a statement from the Tennis Association.

Heliövaara and Glasspool had advanced to the semifinals without a loss to the innings and had not lost a single pass in their three matches. They had also gotten this far in the Grand Slam for the first time.

Bopanna and Middelkoop, who finished 16th in the tournament, were toughened by Heliövaara and Glasspool, as the Finnish-British couple made the only break in the opening round and took the lot to their name.

At the beginning of the second installment, Heliövaara and Glasspool were able to try to break in immediately, but Glasspool’s return was left on the net. In the fourth game, the pair’s magic broke, as Heliövaara lost his pass. Although they still managed to break the level of the situation, Bopanna and Middelkoop were able to break into another breakout and thus a winning victory.

The third round is a steady battle and Glasspool even managed to score from victory in a 5-4 situation, but the passing turn was broken. The match progressed all the way to the playoffs. In it, Heliövaara and Glasspool immediately got into a 3–0 lead, but the good mood disappeared completely after that. Instead, Bopanna and Middelkoop succeeded, and the Indian-Dutch pair won the playoffs 10-3.

– The tennis player can’t think of anything but “why couldn’t we win today?”. Opponents played a few really great points at the end. I think we played a very nice match considering the circumstances, it was a pity that it was not enough for a few points, Heliövaara regretted.

– However, this will be stronger next time.
