Speaking to the American Axios news platform, one of Trump’s foreign policy advisors, whose name was not disclosed, said that they have a clear stance on Venezuela.
“WE WILL NEVER BE DISTURBED”
The US advisor argued that it is not possible for the Maduro administration to continue in Venezuela and said, “We would not be disturbed at all to see Maduro as a neighbor of (Bashar) Assad in Moscow.” he said.
Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, also called the Maduro administration “a structure that manages drug traffic” during his confirmation hearing in the Senate last Wednesday.
