The far right and the left rejoiced

The President of France Emmanuel Macronin government ministers have expressed disappointment with the outcome of the second round of parliamentary elections.

Minister with responsibility for the budget Gabriel Attal has said for TF1 that the result is far from desired. Minister of Justice Eric Dupond-Moretti said BFM on television had won the alliance, but first place is still disappointing.

The far right Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella have called the result a tsunami. According to Le Pen, the result is historic, with the party gaining more seats in parliament than ever before.

Led by the Alliance of the Left and the Greens Jean-Luc Mélenchon said Macron lost. He described the situation as completely unexpected and unprecedented.
