Two weeks after this year’s lynx hunt began, it has now ended in both Kronoberg and Kalmar counties. Kronoberg blew off the hunt already last week when the quota of 9 animals was reached.
In Kalmar County, the allocation was larger, as a maximum of 32 animals could be shot, of which a maximum of ten sexually mature females. On Monday, the tenth female was shot, and thus the hunt was over.
A total of 25 animals were killed in Kalmar County’s two hunting areas during this year’s hunt.
