The new Monster Hunter Wilds is going to be an expensive affair. Even the standard edition will cost €70 on Steam and €80 for the PS5 and Xbox. The deluxe edition has a price tag of €90/€100, and the premium deluxe version will cost €110/€120. But that’s nothing compared to the Ultra Collector’s Edition for over €1,100.
What’s in the editions? You can now pre-order the basic version of Monster Hunter Wilds on Steam. It costs €70 on Steam and only contains the basic game. On PS5 and Xbox you pay €80 for it.
The Deluxe Edition costs €90/€100 – The “Deluxe” version contains decorative armor for you, your Palico and your mount. Plus gestures and all kinds of cosmetic items. We’ve included a screenshot with all the contents below.
The Premium Deluxe version for €110/120 includes all of that and there are 2 cosmetic DLC packs due out in spring and summer 2025. Monster Hunter Wilds itself is expected on February 28, 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox.

Collector’s Editions contain touchable gimmicks
What is the expensive edition? Capcom has also introduced a “Monster Hunter Wilds Collector’s Edition,” which comes in a steelbook case.
It contains a plush toy and a bag as physical items, plus the contents of the digital deluxe version.
Ultra Collector’s Edition of Monster Hunter Wilds costs over €1,100 and includes a folding bike
What is the super-expensive version? The Ultra Collection, however, costs more than 14 times as much as the base game, which equates to €1,128.
This edition includes a bicycle that weighs a good 10 kilograms.
In Japanese it says: Capcom is now accepting reservations for the official shop limited edition Monster Hunter Wilds Ultra Collectr’s Edition.
The website also states that the hunter’s mobility aid is a folding bike from DAHON! The item will be delivered between April and June 2025.
But nobody can answer why the hell a bicycle is included and what that has to do with Monster Hunter Wilds. If you really want the Ultimate Edition and are prepared to pay over €1,100 for it, you should also factor in a trip to Japan, because that is the only place the edition is sold: Monster Hunter Wilds shows the most important monster in the game – and it really shouldn’t exist anymore
