The Love is blind couple have become parents

The Swedish version of the American Netflix series Love is blind finished in January – and was a real talking point.

Sergio Rincón and Amanda Jonegård clicked in the program, said yes to each other, and got married.

In the program’s finale, it emerged that they were expecting a child together and earlier this week they had a son, whom they named Ralf.

– It’s unreal, I told Amanda that a year ago you were super single, and now you’re super dad instead! says Sergio in After five.

“Hope others dare to believe in love”

As expected, it has been a lot for the couple to deal with, but it has gone well nonetheless.

– Somehow you still feel prepared, when he came out you felt that now this life begins. He really is the nicest, says Amanda and continues:

– It feels so natural but at the same time so big, it’s like being a little extra in love with both Ralf and Sergio. Childbirth is a journey we made together, where both contributed in their own way. It becomes such a team feeling and now we have come even closer to each other.

Sergio concludes:

– Our journey has gone by the wayside, but I hope we can be some kind of inspiration for love. No matter how tough it can be, it’s so worth it when you see little Ralf smiling and Amanda smiling. I hope others out there dare to believe in love.
