The anime MMORPG Blue Protocol had to postpone its tests in Japan and is now announcing a new date. Future players are now discussing whether this will affect the global release.
Blue Protocol is considered one of the biggest MMORPG hopes for 2023. On January 14, the developers Bandai Namco originally planned a network test in Japan, which they had to postpone due to a serious bug. First for an indefinite period.
Developers announce a new date for testing
In a post on their website on January 25, they say they have identified the bug and are able to fix it. “We are still investigating and improving the issue that led to the decision to postpone the network test,” the developers said. They don’t write exactly what the problem is.
They name March 31, 2023 as the new date for the tests in Japan.
How does this affect the release? Blue Protocol is scheduled for release in spring 2023 in Japan and in the second half of the year for us in the West. The fact that the release will now be delayed due to the postponement of the tests is conceivable, but not certain.
