The world meteorological organization has decided to withdraw the names of too destructive cyclones. Bery, Milton, John or Helene designated meteorological disturbances which wreaked havoc in 2024 in the Atlantic or the Pacific. It will therefore be necessary to find a new way to designate future extreme weather events that will occur in the future.
